Corporate Volunteering 

 

Women’s Aid ABCLN’s Safe Haven Garden in Antrim provides a safe and nurturing outdoor space for women and children experiencing domestic abuse. The garden offers unique employer supported volunteering and team building opportunities for your staff to get involved in our work - planting garden beds & window boxes, weeding and painting fences.

Reconnect offers a 12-week personal development programme for women to increase confidence and self-esteem and well-being.  This provides bespoke opportunities for your employees to bring added social value to our partnership by facilitating group work and activities for women.

Become A Safe Place

Join us and become a Safe Place for ANYONE affected by domestic abuse. Women’s Aid ABCLN will provide free accredited Safe Place training for your staff to increase understanding and awareness about the issues faced and equip staff to recognise and respond to ANYONE affected by domestic abuse.

 

• Pledge to never commit, condone or remain silent about domestic abuse.

• Acknowledge domestic abuse is a problem that impacts all of society

• Send out a clear message that domestic abuse is not acceptable

• Provide a Safe Place for ANYONE affected by domestic abuse to confidentially access information and signpost them to support
