Women’s Aid and Larne Borough Council Celebrate Local Volunteer

Women’s Aid Volunteer, Kim Smith received an award in recognition of her commitment and support to the local charity last Thursday 27th September.

Fay Tilson, Women’s Aid Community Resettlement Worker, nominated Kim for the award.  Kim has proved to be an invaluable volunteer, providing support for the women who use the services, accompanying them to court and running courses, and for their children, through provision of childcare.

Both women were invited along to a black-tie event at the newly re-opened Larne Town Hall, where Kim was presented with her award.
