Journey to Freedom

Everyone has the right to live their lives free from abuse and we have developed this course specifically for women who have been or are still suffering from abusive relationships.

Come together with other women to share your thoughts and feelings about domestic violence in a safe, supportive environment. It will help understanding of the effects of an abusive relationship on both women and children, and raise awareness of patterns that exist within an abusive relationship and the knowledge to create change.

An opportunity for empowerment is provided by building self-esteem and confidence; learning how to feel safe and exploring life choices.

“I now understand that this was not my fault, it is like someone has removed the shackles and I’m out of prison. I can now be myself again”
