Sandra and Paul Hayes paid tribute by saying; ‘We opened our charity shop on 4th November 2013 we are a Christian based charity and have a heart for those in need in the Ballymena Community. All our donations are local and our aim in the shop is to price items so they are affordable to everyone’.
Ruth Owen, Fundraising Co-ordinator with Women’s Aid said, ‘We would like to thank Care and Share charity shop for their continued support to Women’s Aid ABCLN. Domestic Violence affects 1 in 4families in their lifetime, be it physical, sexual, emotional, psychological or financial.  Anyone living with abuse is not to blame for the abuse, nor are they on their own as support is available from a variety of agencies.’
Women’s Aid is dedicated to providing refuge and support to those living with abuse, informing them of options available including housing, financial and legal entitlements, all with the aim for women to be able to make informed decisions and positive life choices.
Anyone experiencing domestic violence can also access support by calling the 24hr Domestic & Sexual Violence Helpline on 0808 802 1414.
